Time Is Now: Plateau CMD Celebrates Governor Mutfwang’s Milestones in Healthcare Delivery

The Chief Medical Director of Plateau State Specialist Hospital, Jos, Professor Christopher Sabo Yilgwan, has congratulated Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang on the second anniversary of his administration, lauding the Governor’s impact on healthcare delivery in the state.

In a statement signed by the hospital’s Public Relations Officer, Talatu Achan Angi, the CMD, on behalf of the hospital management and staff, praised Governor Mutfwang and the “Time is Now” team for what he described as visionary leadership and transformative governance.

“We are proud to be associated with your visionary leadership and the quality contributions you have made towards improving healthcare delivery in Plateau State,” the statement read.

The hospital noted significant improvements in infrastructure and service delivery under the current administration. These include the completion of a state-of-the-art laboratory, a new administrative block, an expanded pediatric ward, and the adoption of an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Other advancements highlighted are the establishment of a functional radiodiagnostic and imaging centre, installation of a solar power system, procurement of hospital beds and mattresses, and the expansion of residency training programmes.

“These achievements are a testament to your pragmatic leadership style and your commitment to making Plateau State a hub for medical tourism,” the CMD said.

The hospital expressed appreciation for the Governor’s efforts in promoting the health and well-being of citizens and pledged continued support to the administration’s objectives in the health sector.

“We wish Your Excellency continued success, wisdom, and strength as you consolidate on the dividends of democracy,” the statement concluded.
